Students need to solve each equation in the boxes on the top portion of the page. Each box has one of four Christmas symbols in the corner. This symbol corresponds to a matching symbol of the puzzle pieces.

Puzzle pieces are located on the bottom portion of the page. After solving each equation, have students cut the bottom of the page apart from the top. Each row of puzzle pieces contain the same Christmas symbol to make finding the correct piece easier. Have students cut the top row off first, and cut those pieces apart. Once apart, have them match the piece with the correct answer to the equation with the same answer. **I recommend having students just lay their pieces onto the row of boxes before gluing them down in case they have a mistake they need to correct.** Once they are sure they have the pieces matched correctly, they can glue each piece into the correct box. They will repeat with the other three rows of puzzle pieces.

If time allows, have students color their puzzle picture for fun!

I have also included an option writing page so students can write about their puzzle picture! It’s always great to squeeze in a bit of writing where you can!
