Classroom and Product Updates

Well, I survived my second full week of school – the longest week ever. I had a graduate class on Monday night that’s over an hour away. Tuesday I got a sinus infection. When I have one it lasts for-ev-er! I have had major, MAJOR drama with the mother of one of my students the Friday before last and three days this week. My principal raised her voice at me for the first time ever. She later apologized like a bazillion times. I’m not going into any details here but I will say that my school is being walked all over by these parents.

Positive things – I have an AWESOME class this year! I have 18 students right now although on Tuesday one of my sweet students will be moving. 🙁 I hate to lose good, sweet, quiet, hard-working kiddos! Her mother is too sweet and said she wishes I could go with them! 🙂 I’m lucky though. A poll on my Facebook page showed that many teachers have many more students than I do! Feel free to join the discussion over there and tell us about your class. For the last three years I’ve went home pretty much every day and said, “My class will NOT be quiet!” I haven’t said that once so far! It’s really been going pretty well.

I feel so out of the loop blogland-wise. I’m trying to get caught up on reading everyone’s wonderful ideas. Pinterest is keeping me in the loop with some things. I hope to start updating more regularly and sharing more freebies as soon as I get into a routine with work and the three graduate classes I am taking. (I should graduate in the spring!)

I worked on some TPT/Teachers Notebook things this weekend. I’ve uploaded the following:

SmartBoard Camping Kids Attendance

SmartBoard Frog Attendance

SmartBoard Seuss Kids Attendance

SmartBoard Sports/Team Kids Attendance

Rock and Roll Kids Nameplates

Rock and Roll Kids Open House/Back to School Night PowerPoint

Rock and Roll Kids Classroom Forms and Substitute Information Pages

I hope you all have a wonderful week whether you’ve started school yet or not! 🙂
