Happy March! March always reminds me that spring is coming! The weather starts warming up, the birds start singing more, and signs of spring start appearing. It’s like everything starts “waking up” after the cold, sometimes dreary, winter months (depending on where you live, of course!).
I wanted to create something that EVERY ONE could use. How many times have you tried to find a cute St. Patrick’s Day game or activity for your class but had trouble because they covered skills that you either haven’t taught, don’t teach in your grade level, or just didn’t have exactly what you were looking for? I certainly had this problem with many holidays, not just St. Patrick’s Day. That’s why this month I have an editable game template just for you so you can create the EXACT game you want/need for your students!
My Editable Game Template (with a St. Patrick’s Day theme) will work for ANY class or subject – reading, math, music, health, art, speech, etc. You can literally create whatever type of game you want- and – it’s easy!
Simply download the editable file (only available in PowerPoint!), follow the directions to edit, print and play!
Included in the Editable Game Template:
- Directions to edit and print
- Game board (in color and black and white)
- 32 Game Question Cards (in color and black and white)
- Editable Answer Key (in color and black and white)
- Leprechaun Spinner (in color and black and white)
- Four game pieces/tokens (in color and black and white)
- Editable game directions
The best part about this game template is that it is EDITABLE which means you can create as many different games as you want, for any content, FOREVER! In my classroom, I typically taught the same skills or content and the same times each year. However, that is all dependent on what curriculum you’re using or snow days, holidays, and breaks. Things can certainly change from year to year. The beauty of this editable game template is that if you’re teaching something different this time next year, just make a new game!
It’s going to be an exciting month! If you’re looking for more St. Patrick’s Day fun, I have some other fun new resources available now!
